Technically speaking, a compass is divided into 360 degrees.

And each of those degrees is divided into 60 “minutes” of a degree and each of those minutes into 60 “seconds” of a “minute.” So at any given moment, a person can be going in any one of 1,296,000 directions.

Or nowhere, which all too often, is exactly where people feel their lives are going. And fast, too.

So at Advanced Direction, my job is both a relatively simple and fiendishly complex one. Help people figure out where they want to go, (that’s the simple part), and why they aren’t getting there as directly or quickly as they’d like (that’s the fiendish part).

By definition, that means no two treatment approaches will be exactly the same - some involve more digging, some more big picture taking, some classic therapy, some coaching (or cajoling, if you prefer) - but one way or another we’ll work together to
get you on the course that’s right for you and moving full speed ahead.

Because in my experience, not only does everyone long for the feeling that comes with this sense of purpose - fulfillment, clarity, meaning, joy - they also know deep down in exactly which of those 1,296,000 directions it lies. It’s just that somewhere along the way, it’s very easy for our perspective to get cloudy or our inner truth to get lost in that storm-tossed sea otherwise known as everyday life.

That’s when having an objective third-person perspective - a co-navigator if you will - can really come in handy. Are you ready for that? That’s the one call only you can make.

Oh that, and the one to Advanced Direction to set up your initial, no-obligation consultation: 815.345.3072.
