How I found my way here...

I started out in the “helping professions” as a mentor. I loved it and found it very productive but after a while I also saw that just setting an example is like playing “follow the leader” and sooner or later people need to find their own paths. So I transitioned to a job as a Family Service Representative within the same organization and stayed for a decade.

Then I discovered life coaching, a method that immediately struck me as an even more effective means of helping people find their way. I could provide guidance from the sidelines and advise people on how to play their game their way, so I trained and was certified by the International Coaching Academy.

Eventually, I came to realize there might be something more that people are lacking beyond a clear sense of direction. While people mostly know where they want to go they don’t always recognize what might be stopping them from getting there as quickly and easily as they’d like. So I went back to school to study psychology and graduated with a Masters in Counseling, becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Now I was equipped and qualified to offer an array of therapeutic techniques brought together in what is called an “integrative approach” tailored to meet the specific needs of a client.

Except I don’t call them “needs,” I call them “truths.” Because in my experience everyone has their own, individual life headings, and whenever they drift off course, it shows. They can feel it. And their actions make it obvious. Problems keep cropping up and until their direction is clarified, it’s like playing “whack-a-mole” trying to keep these issues at bay.

But that’s enough about where I’ve been. What’s infinitely more important here is where you’d like to be and how I might help you find your way there.

A process I find starts best with a simple, no-obligation consultation.
